RSVP by messenger on Facebook or text Connie at 563-552-8398, with telling me your name, how many in your party want to attend and which class. You can come to both. Work on looms in making your own projects will likely take more than one class.
During classes: Connie will teach you how to make a loop from old tshirts, weave on hot pad loom, and weave hot pads together into multi-purpose holder or a rug of your own pattern.
Requested volunteer assistance to make loops for Connie Fuerstenberg Designs, rainbow rag bags and rug projects that are made by Connie and her autistic daughter, Katelynn. Connie suffers from Carpal Tunnel and it’s difficult to make loops for Kate. Kate can make up to 4 hot pads per day when she is motivated so it’s difficult to keep up with making enough loops for her on our own.

Your help in making loops and donations is greatly appreciated. Feel free to bring anything you would like to eat or drink.

Connie Fuerstenberg Designs products are made with the help of her 2 autistic, adult-age children. From helping to take donated items apart to making loops, painting items and threading seashells for wind chimes to lamps.

Seating is Limited. Only 8 seats per class.

Old jewelry and beads that are not glued in place
Small glass jars without any strong smells of food like pickles or tomatoes
Bald tires that are small, clean and not rusted or torn.

If I get acceptable tires donated it is possible we may have a Future FALL Painting Classes for making Double Sided Jack O’ Lantern from a bald tire similar to the one shown here.
